| Nicholson started his career at Rangers but limited appearances saw him join Dunfermline. Nicholson then signed for Aberdeen for £250,000 in July 2005. In October 2007, Nicholson scored the first hat-trick of his career against Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the CIS Cup. In April 2008 Nicholson turned down Aberdeen's final offer to stay at the club After being linked with German, Swedish he joined PNE on a free transfer and made 37 appearances in 2008/09, scoring 3 goals. Nicholson has won 3 caps for Scotland, the first being in the friendly draw with Poland in April 2001. |
