North End again fielded two different sides for each half of this match with the majoirty of the team switchign at the break. There were also two goals in each half to seal victory.
Garner scored from the penalty spot before his strike partner, Beckford, notched another just before the break. Reid added a third before Hughill rounded off the scoring.
Preston now play Hearts at home this Saturday in their only pre-season match at Deepdale.
