There seemed to be very little truth in the rumour that QPR were looking to sign Huntington who had a year remaining on his deal with Preston. It was clear the centre back wanted to stay at Preston and his agent was simply trying to inflate any new deal.
Preston's longest serving player, signed in the Westley era no less, has put pen to paper on a three year deal which will see him at Preston until 2021 and hopefully bring on the youngsters around him.
