National reports confirm West Brom are set to appoint Slavisa Jokanovic as their new manager. However, if the deal falls through then reports suggest that Alex Neil is high up on the list as a replacement for Darren Moore.
Despite Preston sitting in midtable Alex Neil took Preston close to the play offs last season and presently they sit four points off sixth place. Given the financial restrictions at Preston, compared to other clubs, Neil has done a fantastic job and is rightly attracting attention.
It is highly unlikely that anything will materialise but it just shows how far Neil has come in his short time at Preston.
