David Wagner set to ring changes once more
Huddersfield boss David Wagner intends to shuffle his pack again for Saturday's FA Cup third-round clash with Port Vale.
Wagner made seven changes for Monday's win at Wigan and is planning to rotate his players once more, with the likes of Joe Lolley, who came off the bench at the DW Stadium after recovering from injury, Christopher Schindler and Michael Hefele among the possible starters.
Winger Rajiv van La Parra, who missed the Wigan match with a knee problem, is absent again but Wagner is hopeful he will be back next week, as is the case with midfielder Jonathan Hogg (knee).
Sean Scannell (ankle) and Joe Murphy (finger) are still sidelined.
Port Vale are short up front having lost the services of top scorer Alex Jones.
The 22-year-old, who netted 10 goals in 21 appearances on loan for the Valiants, returned to parent club Birmingham after terms for an extended spell could not be agreed and has since joined Bradford.
With youngster Dan Turner cup-tied, Rigino Cicilia is Vale's only fit out-and-out striker, although winger Jerome Thomas could again play up front.
Caretaker manager Michael Brown this week took his squad to the Football Association's St George's Park base to work on fitness ahead of the tie.
