The 2007/8 season was the most successful seasons in Hull's 104 year history Ashbee had the proud distinction of leading the Tiger's out at Wembley as they beat Bristol City 1-0 to lead Hull into the Premier League for the first time in the club's history.
He has the distinction of captaining and scoring for the same club through all four professional English divisions.
