Just when it all looked dead and burried, North End make two signings in quick succession by making the acquisition of Posh midfielder Paul Coutts.
The Scottish under-21 international was at the crux of much speculation regarding his future as soon as Darren Ferguson joined Preston and has now finally joined up with his former gaffer. Although at one point looked as though the former Cove Rangers man wouldn't get his move, a deal was put in place.
