Two goals from Rhys Murphy in the 62nd and 72nd minute gave PNE the victory over Morecambe at Deepdale yesterday.
The victory saw Preston take the Central League West title, five points above second place Tranmere with one to play and seven points clear of third place Burnley who still have two to play.
