Across The Pond

Danny Dichio/Toronto FC

The former North End target man was an unused substitute for Toronto's 2-1 defeat to Chivas USA on Saturday. Dichio is yet start a game for Toronto since returning from injury but after now suffering three defeats in a row, it might not be too farfetched to see Dichio back in the Toronto starting line up very shortly. Chad Barrett did put Toronto ahead after 19 minutes only to see Alecko Eskandarian equalise a minute later.

With the game tied at 1-1, it looked like the game was going to be tied, that was until the 94th minute when Atiba Harris netted the winner for Chivas USA. The Reds welcome Chivas back to BMO field on Saturday

David Beckham & Eddie Lewis/LA Galaxy

Both Eddie Lewis and David Beckham started for the Galaxy as they recorded a 2-2 draw with the New England Revolution. Taylor Twellman but the Revs ahead before Landon Donovan netted a brace to give LA the lead with Eddie Lewis credited with an assist for Donovan's second. However, Salrie Joseph equalised with twenty minutes to go to see the game tied.

Brian McBride/Chicago Fire

Brian McBride got his first goal for his new club when he put Fire ahead against Houston Dynamo after 6 minutes. However just a minute later, Dwayne De Rosario equalised for the Texas side before Brian Mullan netted the winner just before half time.
