All Wright on the Night

Last updated : 13 December 2015 By @pnemad

Kevin Wright played amateur football until he was 25 and decided to become a referee when he broke his wrist for the fifth time and felt it wouldn’t stand up to any further physical football challenges.

He joined the National list of Referees in 2003 and took charge of his first match on 9 August 2003 when Southend beat Cheltenham 2-0.

2013/14 season saw the six red cards come in a space of eight matches, starting with the PNE match.

His last match was a 1-0 victory for Morecambe against Dagenham & Redbridge on 1 December. His last Blues match was a 3-0 win at Barnsley on 30 March 2013.
