Fred Graham started refereeing in 1988 and progressed via local football and the Conference Leagues. He was promoted to the Referees list in 2004 with his first match being a 1-1 draw between NottsCounty and Chester on 7 August 2004.

 

He only remained at this level for one season and returned to the list of Panel Referees. However he was again promoted to the National List of Referees in 2006.

 

His most notable appointment to date came on 21 May 2010 when he refereed a League Two play-off semi-final game at Rotherham. He was also the 4th official on 29 May 2010 at the League One play-off final at Wembley between Millwall and Swindon.

 

 

His last match was the 0-0 draw between York City and AFC Wimbledon

 

His last Blades match was a 2-1 victory at Bristol Rovers in the FA Cup on 3 December 2012
