Postman Andy Woolmer first started refereeing at age sixteen and is another Northamptonshire referee who followed the UCL and Southern League route to the National List. He was an assistant for ten seasons which included four seasons on the Select Group. As an assistant referee his appointments include the Football League Trophy Final, League Cup Final and the Community Shield. Since 2004 he has been on the National List referee since 2004.

His first league match as a referee was a goalless draw between Kidderminster and Notts.County on 18/8/04. His first Championship match was PNE's 2-1 victory at Crewe on 3/1/05. This will be his debut in taking charge of a Boro game.
