Dean Mohareb is in his first season as a League referee. The former primary schoolteacher has moved swiftly through the refereeing ranks and works for the FA as a National Referees Manager. He also was the Referees Development Officer for the Lancashire Football Association in Leyland. He has travelled the world with the FA, giving workshops to Columbian referees on the subject of "delivering excellence".

His debut was a 1-0 home victory over Oxford on 6 August 2011. This will be his first Lilywhite match but has taken charge of a Stevenage match before with a 1-1 draw at Oxford in the Blue Square Premier on 20 December 2008.

His last match was the ESPN televised FA Cup match on 2 December when Yeovil drew 2-2 at Fleetwood.
