Graham Scott has 11 years’ experience in The British Army (Infantry) and since 1994 he has been  a Social worker.  He became a football referee in 1996.

He joined the national list for the start of 2008/09 with is first match being a 3-1 victory for Chesterfield at Brighton on 9 August 2008.

This will be his first match involving Preston, his previous match for Scunthorpe was a 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth on 5 November 2011.

His last match was a 3-2 victory for Walsall over Sheffield United on 6 March.
