Kettle's on again

Trevor Kettle started refereeing in 1983, reaching the National List of assistant referees in 1998, he was a Select Group assistant from 2000 until his promotion to the National List of Referees in 2003. His first match was a 4-2 home win for Swansea at home to Bury on 9 August 2003.

His last match saw a 4-4 draw between Derby and Ipswich on 1 October 2013. His last Crewe match was a 1-1 draw at home to Doncaster on 4 December 2012 which had an eventful end with Crewe’s Matt Tootle sent off and former PNE striker Chris Brown equalized for the Dons in injury time.
