Nigel Miller from County Durham will have another chance to take charge of the match at Deepdale against Barnsley after the original Boxing Day game was postponed.

Nigel Miller started referring in 1989 and appointed to the National list of assistant referees in 1996. He spent some time on the Select Group list and was one of the assistants in the 2003 FA Cup Final when Arsenal beat Southampton.
He was promoted to National List referee in 2003 with his debut being a 2-2 draw between Huddersfield and Cambridge on 9 August 2003.
His last game was on 30 January when Chesterfield won 1-0 at Morecambe whilst his last Championship game saw Peterborough reduced to nine men in their 3-0 home defeat to Derby. His last Barnsley match was a 1-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest on 20 October 2009.
His assistants, as they were in the postponed game on Boxing Day, are Ross Joyce of Cleveland and Paul Kettlewell from Lancashire. The fourth official is Ryan Johnson from Manchester
