Postman Andy Woolmer first started refereeing at age sixteen and is another Northamptonshire referee who followed the UCL and Southern League route to the National List. He was an assistant for ten seasons which included four seasons on the Select Group. As an assistant referee his appointments include the Football League Trophy Final, League Cup Final and the Community Shield. Since 2004 he has been on the National List referee.

 

His first league match as a referee was a goalless draw between Kidderminster and Notts.County on 18/8/04. His first Championship match was the Lilywhites 2-1 victory at Crewe on 3/1/05

 

His last Leyton Orient match was a 3-2 home victory over Bristol Rovers in the Carling Cup on 30 August 2011. His last match was a 1-0 win for Cardiff at Nottingham Forest on New Year’s Eve.
