Gary Sutton is now in his second spell as a Football League referee having made his debut on 6 August 2005 as Stockport drew 2-2 with Mansfield. He was on the National List between 2005-07 and again since 2009 as Aldershot beat Darlington 3-1 on 8 August 2009.

 

 

 

His last match was the 1-1 draw between Bradford and Brentford in the FA Cup on 30 November. His last Bury match was a 0-0 home draw against Scunthorpe on 20 March 2012. The match saw the away side reduced to ten men when Mark Duffy was sent off on 31 minutes.
