Keith Stroud will take control of Preston's trip to table toppers Reading. The referee from Dorset took charge of North End's match at Brammall Lane earlier in the season when Sheffield United scored both goals deep into injury time in the first and secong half while Preston were denied a clear penalty when Dave Jones was tripped up in the box.
