A Trip To The Humber

Simpson has a fully fit squad to choose from bar long term absentee Henderson and Jones who has been ruled out with a hamstring injury. Chilvers and Halls are expected to be declared fit.

The back four will see a change with Halls in for Jones but Hill, Mawene, St Ledger and keeper Lonergan will all maintain their places.

The midfield will most likely be Mckenna and Nicholls in the middle. Sedgewick will start on the right but the left is anyones guess. Carter after having a reasonable run on the left seems to be out of the fray. Lewis Neal just seems to be completely out of favour with Davidson and an improving Whaley left to fight it out.

Up front could be anyone from six. Carroll who scored on Tuesday after being out of the squad for over a month is the favourite to start. Ormerod, Mellor, Hawley, Gallagher and Agyemang are all fighting over the other spot.

Simpson will be looking over his shoulder as just down the M65, his counterpart Steve Coterrill parted ways with Burnley and a poor run of results could leave Simpson down the same path.
