Another Derby Day Looms

Preston have the worst away record in the division picking up two points from a possible thirty on their travels. Burnley, going well under new boss Coyle strangely have been much better away from home.

As usual the form book will go out of the window but Preston have no away form to throw out of the window. Burnley after losing in midweek to then bottom club QPR will not be relishing a derby game with now bottom club Preston.

Team selection has been consistent recently but Mawene is likely to get the chop after some poor performances. Jones is fit again and should slot in at right back with St Ledger going into the centre.

The midfield will more than likely remain the same with Lewis Neal pushing for a place on the left. Up front Gallagher should start but after missing a whole host of chances lats week Agyemang maybe relegated to the bench giving Mellor a start.

Preston will have to battle hard to get anything from the game but even a point will be a boost ahead of the busy Christmas schedule. Mistakes will have to be kept to a minimum whilst chances will have to be taken if Preston are to get something at Turf Moor.
