Holloway's Pilgrims Head To Deepdale

Preston maintain one of the best home records int he country and they will be relying on this to keep their promotion push alive after failing to secure a victory in over a month. Two home draws followed by two home defeats have seen Simpson's side drop to fourth.

Preston will expect a tricky time of it this Saturday as Plymouth are a well drilled side under Ian Holloway who has always proved difficult for North End in his Bristol Rovers and QPR days.

Simpson will be stuck with the same squad that went to St Andrews with Matty Hill likely to start at left back again after recent injuries. Simpson will expect more clinical finishing from Nugent with Oremerod set to start up front with Agyemang ruled out.

No new injury worries for the boss so it is expected that he will start with the same eleven that lost at St Andrews but a similar performance with less mistakes and better finishing.
