Irvine Searches For First Win

After two tough away trips Preston return to Deepdale to hope they can recapture some of their home form to boost the side up the table.

Team selection is still up in the air as the side has changed on all three occassions with no doubt more changes due this Tuesday.

The striking positions are up for grabs whith everyone bar Hawley having some time on the pitch over the past three matches. None of them have found the net as of yet so whoever plays will need to show their prowess in front of goal.

Captain Mckenna has led the midfield and it is unsure if Nicholls will return alongside him or whether Davidson will continue in a holding role. Lewis Neal has been pushing for a recall but Sedgewick and Whaley have been the better performers of late.

The back line has been troubling Irvine with the absence of the injured Jones. On loan Halls is a right back but St Ledger was favoured on Saturday and may well continue with Mawene and Chilvers at the back with Hill on the left.

Preston have a big few weeks coming up and need to start putting points on the board before they get dragged deeper and deeper into trouble and away from the pack. Hull will provide a good test of how far the team have come in a month.
