The Potters Come Seeking Points

Tony Pullis has once again stamped his style of football onto another club and it is proving dividends. Stoke are having hteir best season for a number of years frittering in and around the top six positions.

Stoke have heavily relied on loan signings as like ourselves they do not have the big cash to splash but some key players had to return in the transfer window to their mother clubs.

As you would expect from a Pullis side Stoke have a magnificent home record and will be difficult to break down but they will surely miss ex North Ender Fuller up front who is suspended today who has ben banging in the goals.

Preston will welcome back St ledger into the squad who played a friendly in mid week but may have to settle for a place on the bench with Wilson deputising helping the side to two clean sheets.

Simpson is spoilt for choice up front with Nugent, Dichio, Ormerod and Ricketts all fighting fit with Neil Mellor only another week or so away from first team action.

Danny Pugh is also back after suspension but may have to sit it out as Lewis Neal put in a terrific performance last week and will be looking to do the same today against his former club.
