It has been a concern to some fans that Preston have not been active in the transfer market save for tying up Jermaine Beckfod and Paul Gallagher to permanent deals as their loan periods ended.
Preston have been linked with a number of players and some have suggetsed that up to our new signigns ae imminent but there has been no formal news as of yet.
It is understood that the players may well be in cotnract at other clus meaning Preston have to negotiate a fee as well as wages. Most contracts expire at the end of June so if Preston were in for any free transfers then negotiations would have taken place by now.
