Grayson celebrated a year in charge and changed his starting line up with King and Kevin Davies replacing Gallagher and Craig Davies. The game was typical udner Grayson's charge with the team being solid without the spectacular.
Both sides could have claimed all three points with Keith Keane hitting the post and Jack King clearing off the line as Declan Rudd had been rounded by the MK Dons attacker.
There are still enough games left to push into the top two positions but the league table does not lie. Preston have drawn far too many games this season which has left them comfortably in the play offs but well adrift of the top two.
