Barton Not For Sale

Lindsay has issued a firm hands off warning by saying that Barton is not for sale and has a future at North End. Reports suggested that Preston were set to sell Barton to Bolton for around £2 million in a bid to slash the deficit that the club owes to owner Trevor Hemmings. Barton has only just signed a three year deal along with Danny Mayor but it could all depend on Preston's position when the window opens in January.
