The young defender has spent time out on loan over the past couple of seasons with first team opportunites limited at Preston. He has most recently been at Newport but the loan may well be coming to an end.
Newport have recently appointed a new manager who is keen to bring in his own players with several already arriving recently. There is hope of more arrivals before the end of the loan market and it is expected that Ben Davies will return to Preston before the end of the month.
