Yesterday reports were filtering out in Hertfordshire that Graham Westley had agreed terms and the only snag was agreeing compensation with the Stevenage chairman who was out of the country.
It now appears that the reports in Hertfordshire were a little premature with Stevenage making an official statement saying that as far as they are concerned no agreement has been reached between Westley and Preston meaning that no talks in respect of compensation have taken place.
