Brown pleased with a point

Preston are fast becoming the Division's draw specialists but Brown is pleased with the side's start to the season.

"The performance was solid and encouraging," Brown told the club's official website after the match.

"We're hard to beat and that's important. I think Ipswich will be 'the' team at the end of the season, so I suppose at the end of the day a home draw and a clean sheet is a good result.

"They've just come down from the Premiership and have a very strong squad in terms of players - in fact they have two strong squads because they've made eight changes since midweek.

"It was a fair draw and a hard game. I think from the spectators' point of view it was an exciting 0-0 game."
