Several Preston players had one year left on their contracts at the start of this season. Some players have agreed new deals but there were concerns when key midfield players such as Pearson, Johnson and Browne had not signed a new deal.
Whilst it looks like Pearson and Johnson might be heading for the exit door Browne put pen to a new deal which ties him to the club until 2024. We live in strange times at present but it is good news that Preston can now plan for the immediate future knowing that the versatile midfielder will remain at the club.
