Reports had surfaced on Sunday that Browning was at the Ipswich game at the weekend with a view to signing given Preston's depleted back line especially at right back.
Browning completed a loan deal which will see him stay at Deepdale for the remainder of the season whilst also signing a new deal with Everton to keep him at Merseyside beyond the end of the season when his present contract was set to expire.
