Kenny Jackett had organised a trial match against Exeter as the Lions are enduring some pre-season training down in the south west. Millwall won the match 2-1 with Carter being the only player to complete the ninety minutes for Millwall.
The midfielder is on trial for the week and is hoping to impress with the possibility of a loan move if Jackett believes there is the potential in Carter.
