Chorley 0 Preston 3

Irvine had sent a weaker team to Chorley than to Bamber Bridge and this showed somewhat as Preston failed to score in the opening 45 minutes.

Chris Brown opened the scoring from close range whilst Darren Carte scored a left footed stunner with Karl Hawley rounding off the scoring for the evening.

Preston will now move on up the football ladder to face some tougher opposition before the start of the season.
