Deepdale officials as always have to involve the police in any match staged at the ground and once a request had come through from City, they consulted the Lancashire Constabulary.
For reasons thought to be a lack of manpower over the Summer months the police said a firm no to City meaning they must search elsewhere for an alternative venue.
