Clean Sheet Record

North End made one change to the starting line up at QPR on Saturday when Huntington returned to the back line in place of Cunningham who was out injured.

The game was fairly drab in terms of attacking play. Grayson switched Doyle out wide early on so preston efectively left Graner up front on his own. Preston have shown that they are more than capable of keeping sides out this season.

QPR rarely threatened through Austin and Phillips with Pickford not troubled all afternoon. Preston's chances wree also limited with a Bailey Wright header cleared off the line from a corner late on.

The biggest talking point was a Huntington tackle which animated Neil Warnock although the referee felt there was nothing wrong with the tackle despite some studs being shown.

It is another point for Preston who are growing in confidence with respect to shutting sides out but as the season progresses North End will need to compete at the other end of the field to convert chances into goals.
