As the transfer window reaches it end yet another Preston player is linked with a move away from the club for big money. Jordan Hugill is probably glad that the limelight has now shifted to Ben Pearson who is attracting the attention of Burnley, Sunderland and Reading.
No official bids have been received for the midfielder and Preston would be silly to let the youngster go unless an inflated offer came in. Pearson is integral to the midfield and has been a success over the past year and a half.
It is a testament to Preston that a number of players have been linked to big money moves away from Deepdale but so far the club have turned down all offers.
