It was rumoured last week that the right back had handed in a transfer request and Pretson made a subsequent bid to sign Darikwa. Unofficial sources quote that Preston have had two bids rejected with the second in excess of £200,000. It isunderstood that Chesterfield want int he region of £500,000 for the defender.
Whilst negotiations appear to be protracted Brentford and Wigan have also expressed an interest with the London club looking set to make a swoop for the right back before Preston can conclude any deal.
