Complacency Upsets Davies

With an hour of the contest at Deepdale complete Preston looked comfortable at 3-0 against Joe Kinnears struggling side but they took their foot off the pedal and gifted Forest two late goals to set up a nerve-racking last ten minutes for the Whites boss.

"It could have been a very costly two points lost," Davies said after the 3-2 victory.

"It's probably the best lesson we can get for the rest of the season. We were excellent for 75 minutes, played great stuff, were very professional and then we took the foot off the pedal.

"We started to become a little bit complacent.

"I have had a real go at the players, to be honest, because of the way we approached the game in the last 15 minutes."
