Preston releaased a number of out of contract players after defeta to Rotherham int he play offs but made no comment upon Hume and Cansdell-Sherriff untilt hey hade featured int he League Two play off final last Monday.
It was expected that both would be released as neither had been offered new deals and the news was officially confirmed. Cansdell-Sherriff who spent time on loan at Burton immediately signed a two year deal with the League Two club whilst Hume will now ponder his options after his loan at Fleetwood expired.
