The left sided defender is under cotnract at Bristol City but was photographed as beign with the Preston squad in Scotland on Saturday. Bristol City confirmed that Cunningham was undergoing talks with a Championshp club and waslikely to leave.
It was understood that the Irish international was set to undergo a medical before the deal could be officially confirmed at some point on Monday. Both press in Bristol and Preston report that the deal is almost finalised.
