The Whites winger was shown a second yellow card for celebrating Preston's final goal for allegedly giving fans a 'high-five'.
"I'm absolutely astounded," the Preston boss said.
"He crossed the ball into the box and his momentum took him to the fans.
"He has raised his hands to stop himself going into the crowd."
