After completion of the fourth side of the ground a couple of years ago, Preston had the go ahead to apply to hold international fixtures at under 21 level as their capacity and facilities met the required elements.
Deepdale has been handed the under 21 tie against Iceland as the squad prepare for the European finals this summer. Tickets are £10 and £5 for concessions and can be bought from the club in the usual way with Stuart Pearce expecting a sell out.
