The emergency loan market closes today and Phil Brown is in a state of emergency. It has become clear that Hemmings has given the manager one last attempt to turn the tide at Deepdale by allowing him two loan moves before the market shuts.
It is unclear who Brown is after and whether anyone will come in at the 11th hour. It all strikes of hypocrisy as Brown stated that if Alexander, Ashbee, Daley, Hume and Proctor return to training today then they will be available for Saturday.
It appears that Brown wants a different team completely to feature at Gigg Lane on Saturday. Rotation has been a feature of his short tenure in charge but whoever he picks, the performances seem to be the same.
