It was reported int he press that Preston and Plymouth had agreed loan trms for the striker but it was left to Doyle to decide whether he wanted to move out on loan again.
The regional press in Plymouth are now reporting that there was no agreement between the clubs and Plymouth simply made an enquiry over a loan move. It is possible that a deal could be struck up before the end of the transfer window.
