At present, no formal complaint had been made with Ellington declaring that he had been racially abused on his Twitter account but seemingly was not bothered about taking further action.
If a formal complaint is made then the FA will ahve to launch a full sclae investigation into the alleged incident and the ball is now in Ellington's court who has only two games left of his spell at Deepdale.
