FA rub salt in the wounds

It has been revealed that ‘Keeper Jonathan Gould faces a further punishment from the FA after hurling abuse at the Referee after he made an astonishing red card decision at West Brom on Bank Holiday Monday.

Gould, who swears to this day that he never touched 'Brom Striker Hughes in the penalty area, now faces a fine after his reaction after the sending off.

Craig Brown stood by his man, saying: "Jonathan is an experienced professional and he knows he shouldn’t have reacted the way he did. But everyone who witnessed the incident will sympathise with the way he is feeling. What happened to him was very unfair"

The chairman Derek Shaw also showed his disbelief with the decision saying: "I am in total belief.
