Whilst there are no high profile friendlies this pre-season Preston will play Hearts in their only home friendly on 18 July 2015. The Whites will play the familiar games against Bamber Bridge and Chorley.
Fixtures have also been announced against non-league Southport and Ashington as well as a final warm-up game against Bury away a week before the start of the new season as well as travelling to Carlisle.
There is speculation that thefirts league game at home to Midlesbrough may well be moved to a Sunday lunchtime kick off due to television purposes although no formal announcement has yet been made.
