Ferguson who appears to have fallen out in a big way with Trotman placed the centre back on the transfer list during the summe rmonths. The big man had offers to move on loan but was determined to stay and fight for his place but he has been frozen out in the reserves.
He now goes out on loan to his former club Oldham until 3rd January when the transfer window fully opens. It is unclear whether Trotman will return to Deepdale after having several loan spells throughout his Preston career.
