FULLER RELIEF

There was worry in the eyes of all the fans that were at the game against Hibernian at Deepdale on Saturday.

It took Ricardo Fuller months of rehabilitation and days with the physio Andrew Balderston to recover from the serious knee injury last season. But he astonishingly came out on Saturday against Hibs with a bandage on his knee.

But Craig Brown dismissed to Footymad that it was a reoccurring injury that blighted his season previously.

Brown said: "The bandage he had on his knee weren't the knee that he had surgery on. He played two games this week and thought he should have tubi-grip on his stronger knee.

"He showed that he was short of match fitness, but we have three friendlies this week, so hopefully he'll be fit by the end of those."
